The amount of controversy created by this e-book has been explosive.
It had all the elements of a viral banshee when launched in August 2005.
The launch and content were quite literally different than anything about at the time, and the way it was done was just pure genius.
The reasons that the book did as well as it did was the guy had actual proof that he had been making a huge sum of money, doing his thing for a number of years, silently, in the background, under the radar.
On to the book.
The content is well written and in such a style that gives anything written since the stamp of 'The Rich Jerk'.
He covers some great stuff and produces some in depth tactics that he has used to make a lot of money.
Some of the tactics are controverial, without a doubt, but he goes in to detail and explains the reasoning behind them.
Some marketers that are featured on the GuruDAQ site actually stated that they learnt from the book, and it was eye opening for me too.
As with all information, some of it is rehashed and banded about, but this was straight from the 'Jerks' mouth so to speak and therefore was fresh and different.
No matter what people have said about this book, you will learn something new from reading it.

Conclusion
If you are building up your marketing knowledge you should buy this book, It does contain some controversial information, but again it makes sense that you should at least know the tactics within.
It may not be appropriate for the absolute beginner to buy this book, but do get it when you've hardened your skin a little bit.
