Derek Gehl from the Internet Marketing Center is no New Kid on the block. His marketing background goes back to the mid 90's and jointly built up The Internet Marketing Center from a basement operation into a $40 Million Dollar Company with the Late Corey Rudl.
On to the seminar - The seminar ran on 3rd and 4th December 2005 with an introduction and networking event on 2nd December.
I've got to be honest, I was expecting a bit of a pitchfest from the event because the actual cost to attend was an un-normal $97 dollars, and this $97 actually included dinner on the saturday night and was also refundable at the end of the event. Incredible.
So that was why I expected a pitchfest, and was it a pitchfest?
Absolutely NOT.
The event was absolutely filled full with excellent information on all aspects of Internet Marketing.
In-fact apart from a presentation on Saturday Night by Scott Paton about Blogging and RSS, Derek Gehl took the stage and talked for the whole two days.
There was a pitch at the end of each day for a package of all the Internet Marketing Center's products and also a mentoring package, but these were suprisingly good value for money. I was very tempted to take up the mentoring package.

All in all the weekend was an excellent seminar and allowed some great networking and gave some great information.
If another seminar is announced I would make sure to be on it without fail.
